The Freilich Lab

NetCmpt is a tool for calculating the competitive potential between pairs of bacterial species, based on the properties of the corresponding metabolic-networks, as defined in Freilich et al, 2010. NetCmpt takes as an input the metabolic content of selected species (that is, species-specific lists of EC numbers), constructs the corresponding networks and environments, and computes the competitive potential score between all pairwise combinations. NetCmpt is available as an online tool and as a software package.
